Terms and Conditions are for the School Holiday Junior Keeper Camps

Cancellation Policy
• Once booked, due to the popularity of the School Holiday Junior Keeper Camps, there are no availabilities for refunds available.

Prior to booking a Junior Keeper Camp, Symbio Wildlife Park must be made aware of any special requirements that your child has that;

  • Could result in unpredictable behaviour that may cause a threat to the safety of our animals, staff or other participants.
  • Interferes with your child’s mobility or ability to perform certain tasks.
  • May impede their ability be to understand and follow any directions given to them by our Zoo Keepers throughout the day.Additional requirements to advise:
    • Allergies to certain animals, insect bites or plant matter.
    • Special dietary requirements and/or allergies to foods.
    • History of Asthma/epilepsy (and or ability to self-medicate)

Medical conditions
Medical conditions that warrant non-participation include, but are not limited to;
• Fever
• Cold and flu symptoms
• Chest infections
• Cold sores, skin rashes or irritations
• Diarrhoea and chicken pox.
• Hand, Foot and Mouth disease
• Head Lice
These can pose a threat to the health and welfare of our animals along with the other participants of the Junior Keeper Camp.
In the event of non-disclosure, the purchaser will accept full responsibility and associated costs involved/incurred directly arising from any omission of details.

Requirements for the day;

  • Participants must be between the ages of 7-12 years old.
  • Enclosed shoes must be worn
  • No singlet tops (due to risk of sunburn during the summer months)
  • If your child requires reading glasses please ensure these are brought.
  • Parents/Gaurdian will be required to sign an Indemnity form upon arrival.
  • Check-in time for Junior Keeper Camp is 9.45am
  • In the event of adverse weather conditions an alternative day will be offered to the participants. If none are suitable then a refund in full be given.

Additional Junior Keeper Camp Terms and Conditions;
Weather protection is highly recommended for the Junior Keeper Camp as the day will be largely outdoors.
